O2 Bundles Its Broadband Services

O2 has decided to offer bundles that combines fixed home broadband with mobile services. This deal is being offered to new customers, and those who sign up will receive their Mobile Broadband service for only £20 a month. Sign up includes a 1-year, free, standard home broadband package, plus 3GB of data and an unlimited Wi-Fi service. To qualify for this deal, the customer must live within O2’s broadband network, which actually covers about 60 percent of the population in the UK. The customer must also sign up between the period, August 1 - October 31, 2008.

Current O2 customers who already have mobile and home broadband can also benefit from this new package deal. Customers, who do not yet have O2’s broadband access, can request an upgrade to a higher speed package. They will enjoy a 1-year discount of £7.50 per month for their preferred plan.

Both O2 and the customer will benefit from the added value of this deal. Using high tech analytical software, O2 will be able to learn a whole lot about its customers’ web activities. As a result they will be able to use the data collected to tailor the needs of the customers, and provide them with even better deals.
